Permanent makeup in Barcelona

Permanent makeup is a specialist cosmetic procedure, consisting of permanent highlighting of lips, eyes and eyebrows. In the case of eyes, it is most often a line on the lower and or upper eyelid, in the case of eyebrows, their shape is adjusted, while in the case of lips, lip enhancement, marking and adjusting the contours and strengthening of the red. Permanent makeup Barcelona is also an effective alternative to more invasive surgical procedures, because the procedure is performed with the appropriate technique which ensures a visible and natural lifting effect.

Professional permanent makeup not only highlights female beauty, but also perfectly masks imperfections, including covering up skin defects such as scars, discolorations or pigmentation spots. An important detail is that permanent makeup helps regain self-confidence and the natural look for people who have lost their eyebrows or eyelashes for health reasons.

WHAT IS PERMANENT MAKEUP?

Permanent makeup – also called contouring or micropigmentation – involves the introduction of pigments under the skin (dyes), which are inserted into the second or third layer of the epidermis (about 0.3-0.5 mm), i.e. shallower than in the case of a traditional tattoo. The dye is inserted under the skin with a thin, disposable needle under anesthesia, which means the procedure does not cause much discomfort.

STAGE 1 – CONSULTATION
Consultations and the trial drawing are made with classic cosmetics to visualize the target effect
Before starting the procedure, remember to inform us of any medical conditions you might have which might impede the aplication permanent makeup.

STEP 2 – INTRODUCTION OF THE DYE
Putting the dye under the skin with a disposable needle after applying local anesthesia, using only approved dyes that meet European standards.
Lips are usually done with colors 2-3 tones darker than the natural color
Eyelid lines are most often made with black or brown pigment,
eyebrows are most often made in shades of brown and gray.
The procedure lasts on average from 1 to 3 hours – it all depends on the scale of and difficulty of the drawing, area and individual preferences.

STEP 3 – MAKEUP CORRECTION

After the correct surgery, after about 2 days, the skin begins to peel and cover with scabs – this is a normal reaction – do not worry about it.
After waiting until the scabs completely disappear (usually after about 4 weeks) a permanent make-up correction is performed, which lasts on average from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Its purpose is to “correct” any possible defects, to achieve the most accurate and natural effect of the permanent makeup and final correction of the given shapes.
Professionally made permanent makeup stays in the skin for about 2-4 years.
It is worth emphasizing that its durability depends on many factors, including:

Skin type and condition
The skills and experience of the make up artist
Dye quality
Pigment insertion depth
Individual response of the immune system
Proper care after the procedure
Systematic dye replenishment

HOW LONG DO THE PERMANENT MAKEUP EFFECTS LAST?

Eyelash extension in Barcelona:
Eyelash extension is a relatively long-lasting way of thickening natural eyelashes, so you can forget about mascara or artificial eyelashes every day.
Eyelash extension in Barcelona using precisely attached hair made of various materials
Women decide on it primarily because of the appearance, because thanks to it you can strongly thicken and lengthen natural eyelashes in a way that no cosmetics applied on them will provide.

The second reason is that, in contrast to self-adhesive artificial tufts, which need to be removed after one day or night of wearing (usually simply when removing makeup), eyelash extensions using the 1 to 1, 2 to 1 and 3 to 1 method give a much more durable effects.
Eyelash extensions: how long do they stick?
Depending on the condition of our eyelashes and the care used, the extended eyelashes should last for 3-4 weeks. Natural “adult” eyelashes gradually fall out and are replaced with new ones, so if you want to maintain the initial effect of the extension, you need to regularly supplement them – a maximum of every month.
Eyelash extension methods
Each of the methods ensures similar durability, and they differ primarily in the effect that is achieved with their help.

Method 1 to 1, also described as 1: 1. This is definitely the most frequently chosen method, because it gives the most natural effect and is the cheapest. It is characterized by the fact that the beautician attaches one hair to each natural eyelash.
2 to 1 method, i.e. 2: 1. This method is based on the fact that two natural lashes are glued to each natural eyelash. Because of this they are thicker and more expensive.
The 3 to 1 method, i.e. 3: 1. This is simply another variant in which three additional hairs are attached to a single natural eyelash. This method allows you to get the most spectacular and expressive effect.
Methods from 4: 1 to 10: 1. They differ from the others only by the number of hairs stuck to natural eyelashes.
For 1: 1 eyelash extension, synthetic, silk or natural hair is used, which is obtained from Siberian mink fur. In the 2: 1 and 3: 1 methods, only the latter are used, because they are the lightest and most delicate, so they burden natural hair the least.
How long does the procedure take:
Depending on the condition of natural eyelashes and their density, as well as the chosen method, the whole procedure usually lasts from two to three hours. It is performed lying down with eyes closed.
